Welcome to the Downey Ridge web site.
Downey Ridge is a llama farm, consisting of about 35 breeding females, located in the Shenandoah Valley halfway between Front Royal and Luray. The majority of the females in the herd are of North American breeding and have been selected primarily on their ability to consistently raise beautiful crias. A Downey Ridge female represents the best in disposition, size, fleece and most importantly the ability to produce exceptional crias with no muss no fuss.
